She's here! That's right; on Tuesday afternoon Lily Ashlyn finally graced us with her presence. I'm not going to give the whole story because I know Kendra will want to on Lily's site but I will give the important info.

After about 24 hours of labor the doctors decided on a C-section to ensure the greatest safety for both Kendra and Lily. Lily was born on August 21, at 2:15 pm. She came out with a full head of dark hair (yeah, that would be my hair). The main reason Kendra needed a C-section was because of Lily's size and at 8 lbs 7 oz and 20 in long...I can understand why.

Kendra and Lily are both very healthy and tired. Yesterday Lily actually slept for close to 7 hours without really making too much fuss. The bad news...that was all during the day. Should make for some interesting nights. Anyways, I leave you with some pictures of Lily, compliments of BJ (Uncle Bolaji).
