Nancy sent me this link about the newly designed OLPC. For those of you who don't know about OLPC it stands for One Laptop Per Child. The basic idea is creating an inexpensive laptop, that can work in almost any condition, for children in developing nations.

After looking at the new model, I gotta say...when does it come out because I want one. It's a very slick design: two touch screens that can be oriented either way and function differently depending on what you're viewing. It's built more like a book than a laptop, but nonetheless, still pretty nifty.
