That's exactly what an Aussie by the name of Stuart is trying to see. His website http://www.missiontotrade.com/ is cataloging his attempts to 'trade-up' his diet coke. Currently he is sitting on a USB Keyboard/Mouse combo. I think this is definitely an interesting experiment and I'm eager to see just how far he can trade-up.
